Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922

The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:

SPIVEY, WILLIE. Private. No 204599. 1/4th Battalion Duke of Wellington's Regiment. Son of Henry K. and Emily Spivey of Lepton. Employed by his father, contractor, of Lepton. Enlisted April 1916. Wounded on one occasion. Died in No 39 Stationary Hospital from gunshot wounds on 12.4.1918, aged 36. Buried AIRE COMMUNAL CEMETERY. Grave location:- Plot 2, Row B, Grave 10.
