SHAW, WILLIE. Private. No 12553. 1/4th Battalion The King's Own (Royal Lancaster Regiment). Born Huddersfield 17.8.1883. Lived with his sister at 1 Edgerton Lane, Edgerton, Huddersfield. Educated Huddersfield Parish Church Schools. Employed as a warehouseman at Blackpool. Single. Enlisted August 1914. Killed in action, 9.7.1918, aged 35 years. Buried HOUCHIN BRITISH CEMETERY. Grave location:- Plot 2, Row D, Grave 5.
