Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922

The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:

MALLINSON, WILLIE. Rifleman. No 268688. 2/7th Battalion West Yorkshire Regiment. Born 20.8.1889. Educated Armitage Bridge Church of England School. Employed as a grocer's assistant at the Berry Brow Cooperative Stores. Married. Lived 186 Lowerhouses Road, Lowerhouses. Enlisted 14.10.1916. Killed in action at Bullecourt on 10.4.1917, aged 28 years. Has no known grave. Commemorated ARRAS MEMORIAL TO THE MISSING
