The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:

STEVENS, WILLIAM T. Air Mechanic 3rd Class. No 132655. 32nd Training Wing, Royal Air Force. Husband of A. T. Stevens. Lived Fern Lea, Longwood, Huddersfield. Was Managing Director of Messrs Pearson and Stevens, dyers and finishers, Longwood. Died from bronchial-pneumonia in hospital at Suez, Egypt, on 30.11.1918, aged 33 years. Buried SUEZ WAR MEMORIAL CEMETERY. Grave location:- Row A, Grave 28.
ROH:- St. Mark's Parish Church, Longwood.
