- SHAW, WILLIAM. Private. No 269176. 1/7th Battalion Duke of Wellington's Regiment. Born Huddersfield. Reported missing, presumed killed, at the Battle of Passchendaele on 9.10.1917. Has no known grave. Commemorated TYNE COT MEMORIAL TO THE MISSING.
