Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922

The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:

RUSHWORTH, WILLIAM. Private. No 267568. 1/6th Battalion Duke of Wellington's Regiment. Born Lockwood Road, Lockwood, Huddersfield, 6.10.1888. Educated Deighton Board School. Lived 3 Cowcliffe Hill Road, Huddersfield. Employed as a motor driver by Messrs Shaw Limited, Moldgreen. Single. Enlisted 1.3.1916. Killed in action, 11.4.1918, aged 29 years. Has no known grave. Commemorated TYNE COT MEMORIAL TO THE MISSING.
