Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922

The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:

MELLOR, WILLIAM. Private. No 21504. 10th Battalion Duke of Wellington's Regiment. Born Linthwaite. Son of Mr and Mrs H. Mellor, 36 Whiteley Street, Milnsbridge. Employed as a weaver by Messrs T. Calverley and Sons, Milnsbridge. Died of bronchial-pneumonia, in Italy, on 26.10.1918, aged 23 years. Buried CREMONA TOWN CEMETERY, ITALY. Grave location:- Row C, Grave 13.
