- TANN, WILLIAM HENRY. Lance Corporal. No 68440. 7th Battalion Machine Gun Corps. Formerly No 29392 Duke of Wellington's Regiment. Born Shelley, Huddersfield. Son of Herbert and Ada Tann. Husband of Ada Tann, 11 John Street, Milnsbridge. Employed by the Colne Valley Dye and Chemical Company of Milnsbridge. Enlisted September 1916. Embarked for France in July, 1917. Killed in action, 17.11.1917, aged 23 years. Buried GORRE BRITISH CEMETERY, BEUVRY. Grave location:- Plot 5, Row A, Grave 7.
