Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922

The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:

BROWN, WILLIAM FRANCE. Corporal. No 248080. 29th Battalion Durham Light Infantry. Born Slaithwaite. Son of James Robert and Ann Brown of New House, Moorside, Slaithwaite. Killed in action, 19.9.1918, aged 24 years. Buried in TYNE COT CEMETERY. Grave location:- Plot 59, Row E, Grave 31.
ROH:- St. James' Church, Slaithwaite; Slaithwaite War Memorial; Pole Moor Baptist Church.
