William Edward Beaumont (1894-1917)

The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:

BEAUMONT, WILLIAM EDWARD. Private. No 98452. 55th Company Machine Gun Corps. Born Hawthorn Terrace, Crosland Moor, 5.6.1894. Son of Mrs Clara Helena Beaumont, 35 Barton Road, Crosland Moor. Educated at Crosland Moor Board School. Attended Crosland Moor United Methodist Church and Sunday School. Employed as a grocer's assistant. Enlisted 15.1.1917. Killed in action, 10.10.1917, aged 23 years. Buried in BARD COTTAGE CEMETERY. Grave location:- Plot 5, Row A, Grave 21.
