Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922

The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:

BRIER, WILLIAM. Private. No 956. 21st Battalion West Yorkshire Regiment. Born Marsh, Huddersfield 23.6.1892. Son of Mr and Mrs Sam Brier, 45 Broomfield Road, Marsh. Employed by Mr Ainley, joiner, of Crosland Moor. Attended Gledholt Wesleyan Sunday School. Single. Enlisted 16.2.1916. Died of wounds near Arras, 6.5.1917, aged 23 years. Buried FAUBOURG D'AMIENS CEMETERY, ARRAS. Grave location:- Plot 4, Row G, Grave 10.
