Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922

The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:

LACY, WILLIAM BRAITHWAITE. 2nd Lieutenant. 15th (County of London) Battalion The London Regiment (Prince of Wales's Own, Civil Service Rifles). Born Goole. Son of George Hudson Lacy and Jane Lacy, 157 Old Road, Birkby. Died of wounds, 14.12.1917, aged 28 years. Buried ROCQUIGNY-EQUANCOURT ROAD BRITISH CEMETERY. Grave location:- Plot 8, Row A, Grave 27.
ROH:- Fartown and Birkby War Memorial; commemorated on his parents' headstone in Edgerton Cemetery, Huddersfield.
