The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:

BEAUMONT, WILLIAM. Private. No 44999. 2nd Battalion York and Lancaster Regiment. Born Almondbury. Married. Lived 2 Back Wood Terrace, Primrose Hill. Employed by Messrs J. and E. Morton., Milnsbridge. Reported missing, presumed killed, 21.3.1918, aged 24 years. Has no known grave. Commemorated on the ARRAS MEMORIAL TO THE MISSING.
