Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922
The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:
- DYCHE, WILFRED HAROLD. Private. No 24119. 2/5th Battalion Duke of Wellington's Regiment. Son of Mr and Mrs A. G. Dyche, 'The Butcher's Arms', Netherton. Attended Netherton Wesleyan Sunday School. Employed by Messrs J. Thomas and Sons of Longwood. Enlisted April 1915. Killed in action at the Battle of Cambrai, 20.11.1917, aged 24 years. Has no known grave. Commemorated CAMBRAI MEMORIAL TO THE MISSING.
