- GREEN, WALTER. Private. No 32178. 18th Battalion West Yorkshire Regiment. Born Moldgreen, Huddersfield, 14.4.1887. Educated Moldgreen Church of England School and St. Paul's Church of England School. Employed as a teamer. At the time of enlistment, was living at 22 Gelder Terrace, Moldgreen. Enlisted 23.5.1916. Killed in action on the Somme, 13.11.1916. buried SAILLY-AU-BOIS MILITARY CEMETERY. Grave location:- Plot 2, Row E, Grave 3.
