HALIFAX AND HUDDERSFIELD.

Organiser — Miss Annie Williams, 1, Fitzwilliam St. West, Huddersfield.

The Co-operative Guild room in the Industrial Hall at Sowerby Bridge was well filled on Tuesday, October 24, when the organiser spoke. The sympathy and appreciation were very encouraging. Mrs. Josiah Lockwood and the organiser were speakers at a meeting in Huddersfield Parochial Hall on Friday last. Will all those who have volunteered to be stewards at Miss Pankhurst’s meeting to-morrow (Friday) be at the Town Hall punctually at 6.30 p.m.? Articles for invalids for Christmas Fair and Fete will be gratefully received by Miss Williams. Thanks to anonymous giver for £7 reclaimed Income Tax.
