A beerhouse kept by John Stockwell circa 1851. At the Brewster Sessions of 1869, the beerhouse keeper was named as Henry Haigh.

Location

The exact location of the beerhouse is uncertain, but it was described as being "opposite the gas works" on Leeds Road.[1]
