- BAMFORTH, TOM SYKES. Corporal. No 533641. 15th (County of London) Battalion (P.W.O. Civil Service Rifles). Born Slaithwaite. Son of M. H. and J. Bamforth of Pasford House, Slaithwaite. Husband of Ellen Bamforth of 'Hillbrae'. 18 Wood Street, Slaithwaite. Killed in action, 23.3.1918, aged 37 years. Buried in FINS NEW BRITISH CEMETERY. Grave location:- Plot 8, Row E, Grave 20.
