- NORCLIFFE, TOM. Private. No 39649. 9th Battalion King's Own Yorkshire Light Infantry. Son of Mr and Mrs Sam Norcliffe, 88 Alder Street, Huddersfield. Employed in the finishing department of Messrs T. and H. Blamires Limited, Leeds Road, Huddersfield. Killed in action, 7.7.1917, aged 20 years. Buried St. LEGER BRITISH CEMETERY. Grave location:- Row F, Grave 10.
