- LISTER, TOM. Private. No 202166. 1/4th Battalion York and Lancaster Regiment. Born Shelley, near Huddersfield. Married, with two children. Lived Hill Top, Shelley. Prior to enlistment, had worked at White Lee Colliery. Killed in action, 14.4.1918. Has no known grave. Commemorated TYNE COT MEMORIAL TO THE MISSING.
