Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922

The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:

CLARK, TOM. Rifleman. No A/3226. 2nd Battalion King's Royal Rifle Corps. Born Halifax. Lived 28 The Rock, Linthwaite. Lived previously at Pickle Top, Slaithwaite, and had worked at the Colne Valley Tweed Mill. Prior to enlistment, was employed as a fettler for Messrs George Mallinson and Sons Limited at Spring Grove Mills, Linthwaite. Was a member of the Hoyle Ing Working Men's Club. Married, with an eight month old child. Enlisted August 1914. Killed in action, 10.1.1915. Has no known grave. Commemorated on the LE TOURET MEMORIAL TO THE MISSING.
