The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:

BROOK, THOMAS WALTON. Private. No 305362 The Tank Corps. Formerly No 301389 Staffordshire Yeomanry. Son of Walter Ernest and Hannah Brook of Upperheaton, Kirkheaton. Employed by Messrs Jarmaine and Sons. Killed in action, 3.10.1918, aged 19 years. Has no known grave. Commemorated on the VIS-en-ARTOIS MEMORIAL TO THE MISSING.
ROH:- St. John's Church, Kirkheaton.
