Son of John Rochelle, Clough, Battyeford, Mirfield. Educated Battyeford School, Mirfield. Employed as a miner. Married. Enlisted 1915. Killed in action, 22.9.1917. Has no known grave. Commemorated ARRAS MEMORIAL TO THE MISSING.
