Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922

The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:

PRENDERGAST, THOMAS. Private. No 15163. Royal Irish Fusiliers. Born Ireland. Educated at Galway schools. Husband of Mary Prendergast, 7 Ramsden's Yard, off Manchester Street, Huddersfield. Employed as a labourer. Enlisted 4.11.1914. Wounded in the shoulder. Died in Beckett's Park Hospital, Leeds, after amputation of his arm on 13.7.1922.
