Thomas Lloyd (c.1882-1918)

Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922
The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:
- LLOYD, THOMAS (JACK). Corporal. No 17393. 1/7th Battalion Duke of Wellington's Regiment. Born Derby. Adopted son of Mrs Bottomley, 21 Nabbs Lane, Slaithwaite. Employed by Messrs John Haigh and Company, oil merchants, of Slaithwaite. Was a member of No 2 Working Men's Club, Slaithwaite. Enlisted at the outbreak of the war. Embarked for France on 9.8.1915. Had been twice wounded. Killed in action near Cambrai on 11.10.1918, 37 years. Buried WELLINGTON CEMETERY. Grave location:- Plot 2, Row C, Grave 12.
