Thomas Henry Quinn (c.1879-1915)

Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922
The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:
- QUINN, THOMAS HENRY. Private. No 3/10332. 2nd Battalion West Yorkshire Regiment. Born Kidsgrove, Staffordshire. Son of Patrick Quinn, who was employed for 32 years at the Corporation Gasworks. Lived in lodgings at Beast Market, Huddersfield. Employed as a chemical worker by Messrs Read, Holliday and Sons Limited. Embarked for France on 21.12.1914. Was wounded in the head on Sunday, 24.1.1915. Was removed to No 6 Casualty Clearing Station the following day and died on 31.1.1915. Buried MERVILLE COMMUNAL CEMETERY. Grave location:- Plot 1, Row K, Grave 54.
