The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:

CLEGG, THOMAS H. Lance Corporal. No 267788. 2nd Battalion West Yorkshire Regiment. Formerly No 2032 1/5th Battalion Duke of Wellington's Regiment. Born Huddersfield. Lived 197 Casson's Buildings, Milnsbridge. Employed by Messrs L. Halstead and Company Limited as a printer. Reported missing, presumed killed, 26.3.1918. Has no known grave. Commemorated on the POZIERES MEMORIAL TO THE MISSING.
