Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922

The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:

SHEFFIELD, THOMAS EDWARD. Gunner. No 219467. 1089th Battery, Royal Field Artillery. Born Honley. Son of Edward and Jane Sheffield, 39 Reins Terrace, Honley. Employed by Messrs Eastwood Brothers, of Honley. Enlisted February 1918. Died of heatstroke in India on 17.5.1918, aged 41 years. Buried JUBBULPORE CANTONMENT CEMETERY. Commemorated KIRKEE 1914–1918 MEMORIAL.
