Thomas Dent (c.1868-1945)

Thomas Dent was a photographer whose daughter Daphne Reynolds (1918-2002) was a noted painter and engraver.

It is believed he took over the photographic studio of John Edward Shaw at Burlington House circa 1918, following the suicide of Shaw's son Charles Raven Shaw.

His daughter Daphne married Henry Douglas Reynolds, son of Arthur Reynolds of Essex, on 6 February 1943 at St. Bartholomew's Priory Church, London.

Thomas Dent died at Burlington House on 22 December 1945, aged 77, leaving an estate valued at £1,721 12s.
