- PELL, TED. Lance Corporal No 19772. 2nd Battalion York and Lancaster Regiment. Formerly No 18501 King's Own Yorkshire Light Infantry. Born Hemsworth, Wakefield, in 1893. Employed as a Bioscope Operator before joining the police force on 28.7.1913, aged 20. Died as a Prisoner of War on 8.5.1918. Buried BRAINE- LE-COMTE COMMUNAL CEMETERY. Grave location:- Plot 1, Row A, Grave 8.
