Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922

The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:

VALERIO, SYLVESTER. Private. No 31558. 2nd Battalion Duke of Wellington's Regiment. Born Huddersfield. Son of Salvatore and Emily Harriet Valerio, Hawk Street, Huddersfield. Was in business with Valerio and Rushworth, hatters and hosiers, Market Street, Milnsbridge. Died of wounds at No 18 Casualty Clearing Station on 24.6.1918, aged 35 years. Buried LAPUGNOY MILITARY CEMETERY. Grave location:- Plot 10, Row B, Grave 7.
Brother of Private ALFRED VALERIO died of wounds, 27.9.1917.
