Sykes Dobson (1898-1918)

The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:
- DOBSON, SYKES. Private. No 31905. North Staffordshire Regiment. Born Kirkheaton 14.3.1898. Son of Martha Ann Dobson, 113 May Street, Crosland Moor. Educated at Milnsbridge Church School and Crosland Moor Church School. Employed as a woollen spinner. Enlisted 6.11.1916. Reported wounded and taken prisoner by the Germans, 25.3.1918. Reported died between 25.3.1918 and 25.6.1918, aged 20. COMMEMORATED ON ARRAS MEMORIAL TO THE MISSING.
