Stewart Molson Young (1898-1917)

The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:

YOUNG, STEWART MOLSON. Private. No 202152. 4th Battalion Seaforth Highlanders. Born Glasgow 10.5.1898. Son of Andrew Herbert and Rose Emma Young, Gledholt Grove, Greenhead Road, Huddersfield. Attended New North Road Baptist Sunday School. Was a member of the Huddersfield Swimming Club. Employed as an assistant in the glass and china business of Messrs Andrew Young and Company. Single. Enlisted May 1916. Killed in action near Ypres on 31.7.1917. Buried ARTILLERY WOOD CEMETERY. Grave location:- Plot 4, Row B, Grave 15.
