Stereoscopic Huddersfield: Market Place

The following stereoscope card gives a three-dimensional view of the Market Place in Huddersfield.

It likely dates from the Edwardian era and is marked "Siddon Stereoscopic Series of Views & Gems". Joseph Siddon (1848-1913) of Derbyshire had become a "stereoscopic agent" by the time of the 1901 Census and was working as a travelling photographer by 1911.
