Stanley Isaac Hallas (1899-1917)

Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922

The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:

HALLAS, STANLEY ISAAC. Private. No 36252. 6th Battalion King's Own Yorkshire Light Infantry. Formerly No 5/86652 91st Territorial Reserve Battalion. Born Shepley. Son of Joe and Susannah Hallas, Yew Tree Terrace, Shepley. Prior to enlistment, was employed by Messrs S. Drake and Sons Limited, of Honley. Enlisted February 1917. Killed in action, 24.9.1917, aged 19 years. Has no known grave. Commemorated TYNE COT MEMORIAL TO THE MISSING.
