Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922

The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:

HALL, STANLEY. Private. No 34255. 12th/13th Battalion Northumberland Fusiliers. Formerly No 21201 The Hussars. Born Quarmby 14.10.1894. Son of Benjamin and Emily Jane Hall, 5 Hall Avenue, Springdale, Longroyd Bridge. Educated Oakes Council School. Employed as a woollen warehouseman by Messrs Fisher and Company, Upperhead Row, Huddersfield. Single. Enlisted March 1916. Wounded in February, 1917, and returned to France in October, 1917. Killed in action, 28.3.1918, aged 23 years. Has no known grave. Commemorated POZIERES MEMORIAL TO THE MISSING.
