Sir John Ramsden (1755-1839)

Sir John Ramsden (1755-1839) was the son of Sir John Ramsden (1699-1769).

His son, John Charles Ramsden (1788-1836), predeceased him and he was succeeded by the grandson, Sir John William Ramsden (1831-1914), 5th Baronet of Byram.


He was responsible for the erection of a number of buildings and other works in Huddersfield, including:
