Sir John Ramsden (1755-1839) was the son of Sir John Ramsden (1699-1769) and was the 4th Baronet of Byram.

His son, John Charles Ramsden (1788-1836), predeceased him and he was succeeded by the grandson, John William Ramsden (1831-1914) who became the 5th Baronet of Byram.
