Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922

The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:

BARROW, SIDNEY. Private. No 38393. 2nd Battalion Lincolnshire Regiment. Born 27.8.1898. Was the only son of Mr and Mrs Jack Barrow, 25 Fisher's Fold, Longroyd Bridge. Educated at St. Thomas's Church of England School, Longroyd Bridge. Was employed as a teamer by Messrs Hall Brothers of Lockwood. Single. Killed in action at Gouzeacourt, south of Cambrai, 29.9.1918, 20. Has no known grave. Commemorated on the VIS-en-ARTOIS MEMORIAL TO THE MISSING.
