Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922

The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:

SENIOR, SAM. Corporal. No 9755. 'A' Company, 2nd Battalion Duke of Wellington's Regiment. Born Totties Hall, Hepworth, Holmfirth, 10.6.1888. Educated Wooldale Council School amd Deepcar Church of England School. Lived with his aunt, Lucy Jane Keeble, 10 Lockwood Crescent, Lockwood. Employed as a pit hand. Single. Reported missing, presumed killed, 7.1.1915, aged 26. Has no known grave. Commemorated MENIN GATE MEMORIAL TO THE MISSING.
ROH:- St. Stephen's Church, Rashcliffe.
