Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922

The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:

POGSON, RONALD. Lance Corporal. No 49664. 8th Battalion Lincolnshire Regiment. Born Slaithwaite. Lived 7 Lingards Road, Slaithwaite. Employed in the finishing department at Crimble Mills, Slaithwaite. Attended Holthead General Sunday School. Enlisted March 1916. Embarked for France in January, 1918. Killed in action 22.8.1918, aged 20 years. Buried BUCQUOY ROAD CEMETERY. Grave location:- Plot 6, Row M, Grave 29.
ROH:- St. James' Church, Slaithwaite; Slaithwaite War Memorial.
