Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922

The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:

HUDSON, ROBINSON. Private. No 3/9280. 2nd Battalion Duke of Wellington's Regiment. Born 10 Sheepridge Road, Huddersfield. Son of Sam and Matilda Burleigh Hudson, 3 Sunny View, Deighton. Educated Woodhouse Church School. Employed as a labourer. Single. Enlisted 30.11.1908. Killed in action at the First Battle of Ypres, 11.11.1914, aged 25. Has no known grave. Commemorated MENIN GATE MEMORIAL TO THE MISSING.
ROH:- Christ Church, Woodhouse Hill.
