The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:

WALKER, REGINALD. Private. No 18832. 2nd Battalion Duke of Wellington's Regiment. Formerly No 8678 North Staffordshire Regiment. Born Honley. Lived West View, Bradshaw Lane, Honley, Huddersfield. Reported wounded and missing, presumed killed, 1.7.1916, during the first day of the Battle of the Somme. Has no known grave. Commemorated THIEPVAL MEMORIAL TO THE MISSING.
