Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922

The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:

CLIFFORD, REGINALD. Lance Corporal. No 34168 9th Battalion Loyal North Lancashire Regiment. Formerly No 26366 Manchester Regiment. Born Back Beech Terrace, Bradford Road, Huddersfield. Son of Fred and Rose Hannah Clifford, 198 Bradford Road, Huddersfield. Educated at Hillhouse Council School and the Municipal Secondary College, Huddersfield. Employed as a woollen warehouse clerk by Messrs J. Wilkinson and Son, St. George's Square, Huddersfield. Married. Enlisted July 1915. Missing, presumed killed, 10.4.1918. Has no known grave. Commemorated on< the PLOEGSTEERT MEMORIAL TO THE MISSING.
