HUDDERSFIELD AND MANCHESTER RAILWAY AND CANAL.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, That the Shareholders of the Huddersfield and Manchester Railway and Canal Company will hold their ordinary Meeting for dispatch of business at the Guild Hall, in Huddersfield, in the West Riding of the county of York, on Thursday, the 25th day of February next, at Twelve o'clock noon.

And Notice is hereby given, that at the said Meeting a draft of a proposed Bill for incorporating the Huddersfield and Manchester Railway and Canal Company and the Leeds, Dewsbury, and Manchester Railway Company with the London and North-Western Railway Company, will be submitted to the Shareholders of this Company then present for approval by them.

The transfer books will be closed from Monday, the 15th day of February, 1847, till after the meeting.

Proxies must be transmitted to and received by the Secretary forty-eight hours at least before the holding of the Meeting.
