SHEFFIELD, ROTHERHAM, BARNSLEY, WAKEFIELD, HUDDERSFIELD AND GOOLE RAILWAY.

CONTRACTS for WORKS.

The Directors will meet at their Offices, Westgate, Wakefield, on the 13th day of February, 1847, at Twelve o'clock at noon, for the purpose of letting the construction of so much of the above Railway and Works as extends from the junction thereof with the Manchester and Leeds Railway near Horbury, to the town of Barnsley.

Plans, Sections, and Specifications may be seen at the Engineer's Office, Westgate, Wakefield, on and after Monday, the 1st day of February next ; where also printed Forms of Tender may be had, and none others will be attended to.

Tenders to be sent in on or before the 12th day of February next, addressed to the Secretary, and marked “Tender for Works.”

Contractors tendering, or their recognised agents, must be in attendance on the day of letting.

The Directors do not pledge themselves to accept the lowest Tender,
