Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922

The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:

WELLS, PERCY. Fusilier. No 56136. 15th Battalion Royal Welsh Fusiliers. Formerly No 32234 South Staffordshire Regiment. Born Marsden, Huddersfield. Son of William and Elizabeth Wells, 11 Spring Street, Marsden. Employed as a woollen piecer at Clough Lee Mill, Marsden. Was a member of Marsden Adult School. Enlisted April 1916. Embarked for France on 17.2.1917. Killed in action, 27.7.1917, aged 19 years. Buried BARD COTTAGE CEMETERY, BOESINGHE, BELGIUM. Grave location:- Plot 3, Row F, Grave 8.
