Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922
The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:
- MOSLEY, PERCY. 2nd Lieutenant. 5th Battalion Duke of Wellington's Regiment. Born Shepley. Son of Mr and Mrs John Mosley, Yew Tree Villas, Shepley. Was a student of the textile department at the Huddersfield Technical College. Employed as an assistant designer by Messrs Benjamin Armitage and Sons Limited, Victoria Warehouse, Shepley. Was a member of the Shepley Tennis Club and the Huddersfield Technical College gymnasium. Played football with the Shepley Amateur football club. Was a member of the choir at the United Methodist Church, Shepley. Killed in action, 28.3.1918, aged 24 years. Has no known grave. Commemorated ARRAS MEMORIAL TO THE MISSING.
