Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922

The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:

BILTCLIFFE, PERCY. Lance Corporal. No 305486. 2/7th Battalion Duke of Wellington's Regiment. Born Marsden. Son of Rachel and the late Thomas Biltcliffe, 3 Argyle Street, Marsden. Employed as a woollen piecer by Messrs Crowther, Bruce and Company. Enlisted August, 1914, and went over to France in January, 1917. Killed in action at the Battle of Bullecourt, 3.5.1917, aged 21 years. Has no known grave. Commemorated on the ARRAS MEMORIAL TO THE MISSING.
