- Trooper, 2nd Battalion Grenadier Guards. Regimental No 14497. Born in Aslockton, Nottinghamshire. An Army Reservist. Killed in Action 19 October 1915 in France aged 23 years. Son of Martin and Elizabeth Jones, Aslockton, Nottinghamshire. Employed as a Farmer in Emley Moor.
