Percival Martin Jones (1892-1915)

Trooper, 2nd Battalion Grenadier Guards. Regimental No 14497. Born in Aslockton, Nottinghamshire. An Army Reservist. Killed in Action 19 October 1915 in France aged 23 years. Son of Martin and Elizabeth Jones, Aslockton, Nottinghamshire. Employed as a Farmer in Emley Moor.

JONES, PERCIVAL MARTIN. Guardsman. No 14497. 2nd Battalion Grenadier Guards. Born Aslockton, Nottinghamshire. Lived . Killed by a shell on 19.10.1915. Age 23 years. Buried VERMELLES BRITISH CEMETERY. Grave location:- Plot 1, Row B, Grave 11.
ROH:- St. John's Church, Kirkheaton; Emley War Memorial; commemorated on headstone in Kirkheaton Cemetery.
