- GREEN, NORRIS. Private. No 19939. 10th Battalion West Yorkshire Regiment. Born Church Lane, Moldgreen, 5.1.1891. Son of Martha A. Green, 34 Church Street, Moldgreen. Educated Moldgreen Church of England School. Employed as a fireman by the London and North Western Railway Company. Single. Enlisted 10.5.1915. Killed in action in the attack on Fricourt, 1.7.1916, aged 25 years. Buried FRICOURT NEW MILITARY CEMETERY. Grave location:- Row D, Grave 2.
